Ani turned 1 on Wednesday but we didn't get a chance to celebrate so we had a little party for her today. Bonita brought all kinds of things from Port so we were able to make lasagna, garlic bread, and SALAD!!! (Anyone who has been to the Plateau knows how rare it is to eat anything like that.) We also had cake with one candle in it :)

Shining Daddy's Shoes

I walked into our room and found Ani helping Manis shine his shoes... of course as soon as she saw me she stopped so I only got one picture. She is such a daddy's girl.

Mother's Day

I know I am really late in posting this but this was my favorite Mother's Day moment (Haitian Mother's Day is the last Sunday in May so I am not THAT late). Krischelle helped Ani pick me flowers and when she came in she really handed them to me.
