Ani's Desk

A friend of my mom's gave Ani this precious desk. It was hers when she was a child! It is so cute and Ani just loves it. She is so proud of her desk she shows it to everyone... and she doesn't let anyone sit at it - not even Manis or I!

Potty Training!

I've been kind of "unofficially" trying to potty train Ani for a while but on Friday I decided I really needed to get serious (my diapers are getting low!). So, we started on Saturday. I made a potty chart with her favorite characters on it and found some stickers in the school (they are boy stickers with cars and stop signs and airplanes and other such things but she doesn't really care. She just likes pulling them off and sticking them on her chart. She usually makes me fix them after she puts them on because she doesn't like them to be crooked. Anyway, something clicked and she has been using the potty during the day. She had a few accidents at first but really has gotten the hang of it now. She refuses to "stinky" (as she calls it) in her potty but she will in the big potty so at least that is better than in the underwear (which happened once... gross!) These pictures are from Sunday... she has about 1 and a half rows filled now.

I think Cinderella and Belle were the biggest reasons she actually started to want to use the potty.

She might hate me for this when she is older but I think it's cute :)
