Pictures of Friends and Writing "ANI"

The other day Ani came into my office and asked me to get my camera so she could "do 'smile'" (in other words take a picture) of Lamb and Bear. When I went out she had them arranged like so in the hallway, all ready for their picture...

(Yes, those are Ani's underwear on the Lamb...
No, I was not the one who put them on her...)

Then I got her to let me take a picture of her with them (in her adorable outfit from Tati Lara that finally fits!)

But this is the highlight of the week. Ani was supposed to be writing on a balloon with a permanent marker when I heard her say, "Momma, I wrote 'Ani'." I was about to get upset with her for writing on the truck with a permanent marker, when I realized that she really HAD written 'ANI'... well almost. Yes, I am not lying, she really did write that 'A' all by herself, I didn't even know she could do it. The rest I think is an 'N' with a few extra humps and an 'I'.

Entertaining Ani

Over time we have all developed strategies for keeping Ani happy and busy while we get a little work done...... putting her in a bucket of water...

...letting her watch a movie on my computer...

... and Tati Krichou has created her own little desk for Ani.

But I must say, the most creative one yet was Uncle Sam washing dishes...
